"Being a CPA for over 20 years has given me the best of both worlds. Looking back, I know I successfully navigated the age-old quandary every mom faces: balancing the professional world and the stay-at-home mom world. During? I honestly always felt I was dropping every ball! I’m not sure where all the time went, but I loved being involved at every phase on both sides. After graduating from University of Washington with a BS in accounting from one of the best business schools in the nation, I started my career with Moss Adams. When they closed their Silverdale office, I opted out of the commute to Tacoma and joined forces with Frank, appreciating how faithful and committed he is to his firm and to his clientele. Staying true to my balance, I declined Frank’s offers of partnership, knowing it was not the right answer for me at that time. When my kids departed for college, I knew I was ready to fully commit to Gintz Warner, and have been a partner since 2015. Although I pray for flat tax every day, as long as the complexities of the tax code remain, I am here to help you navigate its intricacies. Even so, my own commitment to balance continues: If you can’t find me in my office, it’s very likely I am at the studio, practicing yoga."
